A partner with KnowMad Technologies, Diona works with her clients and her company on everything from web design and software management to staff development and support - and loves every moment of it. "I wear a lot of different hats," she says. "That's what's so great about being an independent business owner." Her love of all things Internet started as a hobby, but she's been pursuing it as a career for the past eight years. "I have that issue where the line between work and play is a bit grey. The Internet was the first thing that I latched on to and was just fascinated by. You could just see in the early 90s how it was going to change our entire world," she says. But for Diona, the most fun is getting to see one of her projects through to completion. "It's just like sending your baby out into the world," she says. "The web is truly cross-platform; you can use it anywhere, on anything. It's just really versatile."
