He Said, She Said: Ned & Lori

A carefully orchestrated encounter brought Ned and Lori Flemming together. “I’d see him come and go,” Lori says. “He’s a sharp dresser.” Ned didn’t notice Lori, however, so she took action—leaving a series of notes on the windshield of Ned’s car. Together ever since, they celebrated their 15th anniversary last October.

Ned: “One day…there was a note under my windshield that said, ‘I think you’re the cutest guy in Charlotte.’ I thought it was a prank.”

Lori: “Today they would probably call it ‘stalking.’ Something about him just stood out.
After that first date…I said, ‘That’s the man I’m going to marry.’”
