The Curious Soul: Seeking Beauty Finding Self (workshop)

Beauty touches us, connects us, and makes us feel more alive. Why are you drawn again and again to simplicity, luminosity, or vitality when you visit an art gallery or take a walk in the woods? During this retreat you will discover how to translate your experience of beauty in nature into your unique style of art. We will create a visual journal that captures your most powerful experiences of beauty. Then you can use this book  as a source of inspiration for all your  future creative projects  working with fabric, clay, paper, or paints. 

The world offers abundant and constant inspiration once you discover how to collect, connect and create from what you experience. Quite simply, aesthetic experiences awaken the soul. But how do we translate our experience of beauty into some expression of our own if we are not “trained” as artists? We have to create a way of our own.  Your art will not look like the instructors. It becomes an expression of your Creative Self.
