Not Your Grandmother’s Biology: Biologist to Discuss Sex, Desire and Race
Anne Fausto-Sterling, considered a leading feminist biologist, will present “Not Your Grandmother’s Biology: Toward a New Science of Sex, Desire and Race” at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 3, in Cone Center’s McKnight Hall.
A professor of biology and gender studies at Brown University, Fausto-Sterling is a widely published author of several books including “Sexing the Body: Gender Politics and the Construction of Sexuality” and “Myths of Gender: Biological Theories about Men and Women.”
The ADVANCE Office and the Center for Professional and Applied Ethics are cosponsoring this free, public event.
