DIY: Learn how to print

I really love the Scandinavian pattern artist Lotta Anderson. Many may be familiar with her line Lotta Jansdotter. Not only do I admire her for her beautiful, organic designs but, also for the fact that she created this company herself through experimentation and self-teaching.

Lotta has published two amazing how-to books on printing and sewing; two mediums I am trying to dive back into. On a whim, I purchased both books.

So with Lotta’s direction and inspiration, I am going to start printing. I have most of the tools and materials from college sitting in boxes and a collection of fabric that I dip into every so often. I’ll be sure to share my first project.
