I’m a feminist because...

“Well, because it’s just naturally right. How does it go? ‘...that all men are created equal.’ There is not a doubt in my mind that Thomas Jefferson had in mind all men and all women when he wrote the introduction to our Declaration of Independence. Perhaps TJ could have said instead that all humans are created equal.”

When he’s not behind the camera, you can find Mike in his backyard garden. As the father of two young daughters, feminism plays a large role in how Mike sees the world—although it’s more of a state of mind than a political stance. “In the eyes of our maker we are all equal,” he says.
