The Spark Issue

Although I’m a girl who grew up in a small town with mostly cows for neighbors, I’ve always been a city girl at heart, and I am thrilled to live in a community with such a strong creative spirit—Charlotte offers us artistic fare that shouldn’t be taken for granted: opera, great art galleries and boutiques featuring handmade items, ballet, theatre,architecture…the list goes on. There are so many creative and talented women living in the Queen City, and I wish I could share all of their stories with you. I hope this month’s brush with the creative spark is as inspiring for you as it has been for me.
