“I never thought I’d make $5 being an artist,” says Jacqueline. “Very few people can live their dream.”
A graphic designer, Jacqueline creates stationery and paper products that grace the shelves of major retailers worldwide, including Target and Office Depot, among others. Her designs are instantly recognizable, characterized by bright, fresh colors, and simple, clean graphic elements. Although she admits it can be hard to maintain her creativity, Jacqueline cites her daughters as a major source of continual inspiration.
“Their worlds are so bright and happy,” Jacqueline says. “I love, love, love, love color.” Her daughters are also motivation for her to work efficiently, she says. “I want them to be proud of me. I want to make every moment away from them count.”
Her success is proof that her attention to detail and talent has had an impact—her products have been featured in magazines and on TV. “My heart and soul is in every stripe,” she says. “I’m proud of every product with my name on it.”
